On Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at 6 pm, we organize the opening of the retrospective painting exhibition of the artist Ion Lazar, an event that takes place at the SENSO Gallery. It is the first exhibition dedicated to the memory of the well-known visual artist who died in August 2014. The opening speech of the exhibition will be given by the art critic PhD Doina Pauleanu, director of the Constanta Art Museum. The exhibition can be visited between November 10, 2015 and December 4, 2015, from Monday to Friday between 11.00 AM and 6.00 PM, Saturday and Sunday between 12.00 PM and 6.00 PM.
Painter, teacher, restorer, art expert, illustrator and writer, Ion Lazar passed away in August 2014. He graduated from the “Nicolae Tonitza” Art High School, the “Monumental Art” section and the “Nicolae Grigorescu” Institute of Fine Arts from Bucharest, the “easel painting” section. Doctor in Visual Arts and writer, Ion Lazar was a member of UAPR (“painting” branch), professor at the Bucharest Academy of Art and consultant member of the Association of Art Experts and Evaluators in Romania. He had numerous personal and group exhibitions in the country and abroad.
