“What defines the event of my exhibition SHAKESPEARE AD INFINITUM “- the artist said, is the urgency of the message I want to convey. It is actually Shakespeare’s message to us, born over the centuries, disturbingly present and clairvoyant. <It is required you do awake your fate! – You have to animate your faith now!>>.> In terms of stylistics, my intimate, mysterious resonance with the universality of the great Shakespearean themes, seeks its visual expression in graphic happenings and emblematic metamorphoses animated in the area of an explosive theatricality, triggered by the encounter between collective memory and the present of a humanity in the crisis. I call the works, created in a novel deviation of the New Media Art assembly, the <Picto Impulses>, and George Banu, essayist and university professors, calls them, in great inspiration, < Shakespearian Dreams >”.
The well-known playwriter, awarded for playwriting by UNITER, Oana Maria Cajal , has become a well-known and appreciated plastic artist lately. After many theatre plays have been staged on the American continent and she created movie scripts in Montréal, where she has been living for more than 20 years, she has turned her attention to painting and drawing, counting numerous exhibitions and releases of novel art albums.
This event was conducted with the support of Catena Group, through Catena for Art Program, and the Fildas Art Foundation.
