Exhibition signed by Ion Anghel

The  painting and object exhibition by artist Ion Anghel was one of the most modern events organised at Senso Gallery. The exhibition brought together works by the artist between 2012 and 2015.

The opening speech of the exhibition was delivered by Doina Pauleanu PhD, art critic and manager of Constanta Art Museum.

“Restless and unstoppable, Ion Anghel, graduate of the National Art University, class of professor Florin Ciubotaru of 1998, exhibits at the Senso Gallery as soon as he closes another personal exhibition (with different works) at the Romanian Peasant Museum and in the proximity space of Experiment 40 event, organised in September last year at Constanta Art Museum. Going down two more years on the vertical line of time (and we stop here the enumeration that sums up eight more exhibitions since his debut in 1999), two well-received events can be recalled – From Raw Art to Arta Povera – 2013, the Romanian Peasant Museum and From Subject to Object – 2012, Cuhnia Gallery, Brancovenesti Palace Cultural Center, Mogosoaia. For continuity, we would even suggest a title to this Senso Gallery event; mentioning it: What can be represented, can be represented with few elements, we declined any claim of originality, since we limited ourselves to a paraphrase by the work of Ion Anghel (number 20 of the current exhibition), What can be said, can be said in few words“- Doina Pauleanu PhD.

This event was conducted with the support of Catena Group, through Catena for Art Program, and the Fildas Art Foundation.
