Technique: necklace made of porcelain in combination with pigment and fired at the high temperature of 1250°C. A second firing of 800°C was made for applying the colloidal gold on the pieces
The necklace is an original creation, part of the EXTINCT SPECIES series, being a handmade product by artist Raluca Buzura. This porcelain necklace charms you with its spectacular design and gradient colours.
This handmade necklace is executed in porcelain, combined with pigments, and fired at the high temperature of 1250°C. Afterwards, the designer carried out a second firing at 800°C, in order to apply colloidal gold on the pieces.
The pieces are assembled on a white artificial leather support, and the closing system is made of goldfiller. Goldfiller jewels have been very popular lately, thanks to their special aspect, but also thanks to the fact that they don’t lose their colour with time.
