Technique: earrings made of porcelain covered in transparent glaze and fired at the high temperature of 1250°C. A second firing of 800°C was made for applying the colloidal gold on the pieces
These earrings are handmade and bear the signature of artist Raluca Buzura, who has chosen a stylish design in order to achieve these special jewels.
The earrings are executed in porcelain, covered in transparent frosting, and fired at the temperature of 1250°C. Procelain, also known as “the white gold”, is a white, translucent, ceramic material, made of porcelain clay, quartz and feldspar.
The designer carried out a second firing at 800°C, in order to apply colloidal gold on the pieces. Plus, the earrings’ wires are made in brass.
