Diana Pantea

Born in Targu Mures, Diana Pantea is a designer of contemporary jewellery.

She left architecture school to retrain after finding her passion as a jeweller. She attended a faculty in Florence for 3 years, specializing in the field. She participated in group exhibitions both in Romania and in several European countries, as well as in New York.
Since 2016 she has been living in Sibiu where she has a contemporary jewellery studio and sometimes experiments with creating decorative objects derived from jewellery, resembling miniature art installations.

As a contemporary jewellery designer, she combines traditional craftsmanship, design and art. The forms, though abstract, are conceived in direct relation to the human body, leaving room for dialogue between viewer, wearer and creator.
