Alex Miclos
Critical References
Alexandru Miclos, born in 1988 in Bucharest, is a member of the Union of Plastic Artists (UAP), Multimedia Section since 2011. He has a master’s degree (2010) and a dissertation (2012) from the Department of Graphics at the National University of Arts in Bucharest.
In 2010 he had an artistic residence in Perugia (Italy) and in 2011 he studied for a semester at Pont Aven School of Contemporary Art – PASCA (France), where he had Horatio Law (USA) as professor.
He participated in the Art Fair – KunstART in Essen (Germany) in 2014, 2015 and 2019. He had a personal exhibition at Mogosoaia Palace Cultural Center – “Dreadful and thread-full”, in 2016. He also participated in group exhibitions at Stirbey Palace, Bucharest – Steampunker – Digital Art Aggregator and New Media, in 2015; at the National Museum of Contemporary Art (MNAC) Bucharest – The First and the Last Biennale of Results in 2012; at Pont Aven – PASCA (France) in 2011.
