Articolul Group exhibition of Decorative Art at the Senso Gallery apare prima dată în Galeria Senso.

]]> A collective exhibition of decorative art was opened on December 9 at the SENSO Gallery of Contemporary Art. The event also represented the inauguration of the sale exhibition in which works of painting, sculpture, graphics and decorative art are exhibited.

On the same evening was launched the art album dedicated to the artist Ileana Dana Marinescu, a work edited in special graphic conditions and sponsored by the FILDAS ART Foundation. Member of the Visual Artists’ Union of Romania and protagonist of dozens of personal and group exhibitions in Bucharest, in the country and abroad, the well-known artist has exhibited several representative works in the salon at the entrance of Senso CineCafé.

]]> On Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at 2:00 PM, is organised the opening of the personal exhibition of paint impulses “SHAKESPEARE AD INFINITUM”, New Media Art exhibition of the artist and dramatic writer OANA MARIA CAJAL, an event that will take place at the SENSO Gallery, Bd. Unirii no. 15, sector 5, Bucharest.

It is a new exhibition of the artist, after the success of the personal painting and Paint impulses “JUST IMAGINE” that took place last autumn at the SENSO gallery and brought for the first time in Romania, the presentation of a concept of fusion between art and theater, unique in the world – POSTERS FOR UNWRITTEN PLAYS.

]]> Around the Christmas holidays The Senso Art Gallery has conceived a group exhibition that has the decorativeness of the presented pieces as a connecting element. The artists involved are glassmakers, potters, upholsterers, metal artists and even graphic artists or sculptors. Everyone is concerned with shape, color and last but not least the setting. The object variety is great, giving the viewer the pleasure of often discovering the result of mixed techniques. Not infrequently, however, certain artists exhibiting here, resort to traditional ways of working ensuring the historical relationship, always welcome in such a larger exhibition. Therefore, the various objects of art, in the spirit of tradition or on the contrary, innovative, provide the viewer with a rich and varied journey.

]]> We invite you on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at 6:00 PM, at the SENSO Gallery (Bd. Unirii no. 15, Bucharest), to the opening of the Decorative Art group exhibition.

The works of visual artists Arina Ailincai, Dan Bancila, Anca Boeriu, Cristina Bolborea, Manuela Botis, Sanda Bucur, Lucian Butucariu, Daniela Fainis, Costel Iacob, Nicolae Moldovan, Cela Neamtu, Aniela Ovadiuc, Dionisie Popa, Dumitru Traian Tili and Mihai Topescu will be exhibited.

The opening speech of the exhibition will be given by the art critic PhD Doina Pauleanu, director of the Constanta Art Museum.

This event is realized with the support of the Catena Grup, through the Catena for Art Program.

The exhibition can be visited between December 15, 2015 and January 29, 2016, from Monday to Friday between 11.00 AM and 6.00 PM, Saturday and Sunday between 12.00 PM – and 6.00 PM.

]]> At only 54 years old, Ion Lazar left this world, leaving behind writings, works, icons, signs of both philosophical and aesthetic concerns that he had deepened over the years and which he had probably learned in part, because he was modest and demanding, the best answers.

A proof of his search is also this exhibition organized at the Senso Gallery, already a second event organized by the family, In memory, after the special exhibition hosted recently by the Art Museum in Ploiesti.

]]> On Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at 6 pm, we organize the opening of the retrospective painting exhibition of the artist Ion Lazar, an event that takes place at the SENSO Gallery. It is the first exhibition dedicated to the memory of the well-known visual artist who died in August 2014. The opening speech of the exhibition will be given by the art critic PhD Doina Pauleanu, director of the Constanta Art Museum. The exhibition can be visited between November 10, 2015 and December 4, 2015, from Monday to Friday between 11.00 AM and 6.00 PM, Saturday and Sunday between 12.00 PM and 6.00 PM.

Painter, teacher, restorer, art expert, illustrator and writer, Ion Lazar passed away in August 2014. He graduated from the “Nicolae Tonitza” Art High School, the “Monumental Art” section and the “Nicolae Grigorescu” Institute of Fine Arts from Bucharest, the “easel painting” section. Doctor in Visual Arts and writer, Ion Lazar was a member of UAPR (“painting” branch), professor at the Bucharest Academy of Art and consultant member of the Association of Art Experts and Evaluators in Romania. He had numerous personal and group exhibitions in the country and abroad.

At the age of 18, Oana had decided to take the entrance exam at the Institute of Fine Arts, but the day before she changed her mind and went to study theater criticism at the I.L. Caragiale Institute of Theater and Cinematography, from Bucharest. But probably the reason for leaving must be sought in the youth’s need to exercise their freedom of thought without restriction.
