This jewel by artist Alina Băncilă was created to surprise. The combination of red coral and onyx turns this semi-precious stones pendant into a special accessory, completed by the electrifying ramified shape of the silver-plated brass. In extreme contrast with the onyx, the red coral – appreciated since ancient times, especially in ancient Egypt, is considered to be a gemstone able to protect from evil forces, functioning as a an illness-diagnosing tool, by changing its colour.
